JADA
Terms of Service
Last updated 18 August 2026
These terms govern your use of JADA, software for independent beauty providers. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are using JADA for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that business.
1 · What JADA is
JADA is a software platform. We provide tools for scheduling, client records, availability, packages, memberships, team permissions and checkout records.
2 · Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
- If you invite team members, you are responsible for what they do in your workspace and for the permissions you grant them.
3 · Providers remain responsible for their own businesses
As a provider using JADA, you remain solely responsible for:
- The services you perform and their quality, safety and legality.
- Your licensing, insurance, taxes and regulatory obligations.
- Your own prices, policies, cancellation rules and client communications.
- Your relationship with your clients, including any dispute with them.
- Having the right to enter the client information you put into JADA, and using it lawfully.
4 · Your content and your clients’ information
You keep ownership of the information you put into JADA. You grant us only the permission we need to host, process and display it in order to run the service for you, and to keep backups.
Where you enter information about your clients, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for handling it in line with the notices and consents you give them. We process it on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5 · Acceptable use
Do not use JADA to:
- Break the law, or facilitate anything illegal.
- Upload content you have no right to use, or that is unlawful or abusive.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages.
- Attempt to access another business's data, probe or disrupt the service, or bypass authentication, rate limits or usage restrictions.
- Misrepresent your identity or your business.
6 · Appointments and messages
JADA records appointments and generates related messages. Delivery of any message depends on networks and providers we do not control, so we cannot guarantee that a particular message is delivered or delivered on time.
7 · Payments for beauty services
When JADA supports real payments, they will be processed by Stripe, and the arrangement is deliberate:
- The provider — not JADA — is the merchant for her clients' payments. Funds settle to the provider's own connected payment account.
- JADA does not take custody of client funds.
- The provider sets and is responsible for her own cancellation, deposit, no-show and refund policy with her clients.
- Use of payment processing is also subject to the payment processor's own terms.
- JADA may charge a platform fee on payments processed through the service; any such fee will be disclosed before it applies.
Disputes about a beauty service — including refunds for an appointment — are between the client and the provider. JADA is not a party to them.
8 · Subscriptions, trial and cancellation
JADA is offered as a subscription: Solo $28/month, Pro $58/month, Studio $113/month, with a 14-day free trial.
- When billing begins, subscriptions renew for successive periods until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
- We may change prices, with notice before the change applies to you.
- We do not offer a blanket refund guarantee for subscription fees. If something has gone wrong, contact support — we would rather resolve it than argue about it.
9 · Suspension and termination
You may stop using JADA and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, if required by law, or if continued use would create a security or legal risk. Where circumstances allow, we will give notice and an opportunity to put things right. On termination you may request an export of your data; see support.
10 · Intellectual property
JADA, its software, design and marks remain ours. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the service except where the law says you may.
11 · Availability
We work to keep JADA available and reliable, but we do not commit to a specific uptime guarantee. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of faults or events beyond our control. Features may change as the product develops.
12 · Disclaimers
Except where the law does not allow it, JADA is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
13 · Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JADA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you have paid us nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14 · Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold JADA harmless from claims arising out of the services you provide to your clients, the information you enter into JADA, your breach of these terms, or your violation of law or of another person’s rights.
15 · Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, give notice through the service or by email. Continuing to use JADA after a change means you accept the updated terms.
16 · Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions about these terms: see our support page.
